Yesterday I had all the family around including all six kids and two grandkids and ex hubby and his lady friend and her two kids for what was supposed to be a bar-be-que. Because it was raining cats and dogs (and a few pidgeons thrown in for effect), I got the old George Foremans out (Always want to call them George Formbys, but honestly, I'm not that old lol), and did burger and sausages in them with all the trimmings. I also did chicken fajitas for the adults in a nice spicy sauce and topped them off with iceburg lettuce, cheese, olives and sour cream. Lot's of it left over as I did enough to feed two rugby teams so we shall have it for dinner with rice or something. Also did nachos with cheese and spicy sauce and heated them up in the micro. My house although 3 bedroomed is like really small so it was quite an accomplishment to fit everyone in lol. My house is non smoking so we put the gazebo up for the smokers and the rain did let up eventually. I think they said on the news that we had a months rainfall in 48 hours. Around 8pm I did start pulling my hair out a bit as a few of them wanted to watch Big Brother as it was the final and I really hate it but let them watch it anyhow lol.
After everyone had gone, I sat with a glass of wine and watched Hell Boy seeing someone had lent it to us and I did rather enjoy it. Him indoors watched it with his eyes closed and accompanied the film with his snoring 
All in all a nice day.
Sounds like a fun day except for the rain. We had rain on and off all day from Hanna yesterday. Today, beautiful sunny sky. I can't imagine having my family stuck in my house if it were raining. That would not be fun.
