I run several groups on Yahoo and today received an email from an American member of one of them asking what a British girl was doing running a group on yahoo. COM. She wasn't backwards in coming foward to say she thought it was out of order. I was quite taken aback by this and emailed her back asking what she meant by this. Her tart reply was that .COM was American and if there are mostly Americans in the group, then a British person shouldn't be running it and it should be run by an American and not by someone from the UK. OMG, can you believe the sheer ignorance!  Maybe SHE ought to go google what .COM stands for........it certainly does not just pertain to just American sites!  I googled ' what is someone that dislikes the British' and it came back as 'Anti British Racism'. I emailed her back with this and she told me to 'Fuck Off you Brit  C**t'. I have a lot of online American friends, and in all the years I have been on Yahoo, thats the first time something like this has occurred. I guess there will always be one bad penny in any large group of people. I thought Racism was a rather strong term but I guess (and according to good old google), it comes in many shapes and forms. So surfice to say, her email address is now blocked and I hope she  shoves her head where the sun don't shine! Just as well I am thick skined really .

So dear reader, what are your views on this? Do you agree with googles use of the word 'racism' here?
